Changes to Opening Schedule – Suspension of Wednesday Sessions

Starting next week, we will unfortunately not be holding Wednesday sessions until further notice. We introduced the Wednesday session last year due to popularity, however, we now need to manage our costs accordingly over the coming months until further funding is received. We hope to re-commence the Wednesday session once future funding is assured.
We will still be holding two final Wednesday sessions in March, where we have already arranged for health visitors to attend.

• Closed – Wednesday 4th March
• Open – Wednesday 11th and Wednesday 25th March 2020
• Closed – Wednesdays from April onwards until further notice

We regret having to reduce the sessions we can offer but unfortunately due to cost increases we currently can not afford the additional session.

About our Charity: As many of you know we gained charity status in 2020, with the main priority to operate accessible soft play sessions for 0-5-year-olds and their carers in Bermondsey and the surrounding areas. We have achieved this for a number of years, with the aim to continue this valuable service long-term. Our aim is to increase the number of sessions available for local children.

To help keep our sessions going long term, from Monday 9th March we will be asking for a £1 donation per child, to support with the increased costs. We are a none profit organisation and these donations will secure the future of the charity and play sessions for local children.

How can I get involved: We are keen to hear from anyone who would be interested in volunteering, or considering becoming a Trustee? We are a small team dedicated to the RPCA and so would welcome any additional support you can offer.

Funding: We are always keen to hear from you if you have any ideas about fundraising, or if you have any connections within the Corporate/ Charity world.
We hope that you continue to enjoy our sessions and would welcome any feedback.
